International Conference of Mother Language Journalism 2024 has been concluded

 

First International Conference on Mother Language Journalism 2024 has been concluded. It is the first conference in South Asia, organized by National Forum of Newar Journalist, NFNJ from Nepal. Journalist from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal participated in the Conference of Mother Language Journalism. The opening session of the first day of the program was held with the participation of former President Vidya Devi Bhandari and the second day of the program was held with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha. In Nepal the first mother language journalist Dharmaditya Dharmacharya धर्मादित्य धर्माचार्य been 100 years of starting his job of Newspaper (Buddha Dharma and Nealbhasa) publication from Calcutta.

Through the program, the main objective of the program is to promote the journalism of Nepal's native language to the international forum, to get information about journalism in foreign countries, and to make the journalism of the native language professional, inclusive, and strengthen the government. 

Conference of Mother Language Journalism organized with cooperation of SAARC Journalist Forum, FONIJ, Lalitpur Metro Politan City and Madhyapur Thimi Municipality. In the last day of program Mr. Surendra Shrestha Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, Mr. Vijay Krishna Shrestha Deputy Mayor and Mr. Ramesh Thapa Shrestha ward president of 8 well comed in Historical city in Bhaktapur. In the same day all international delegates (46 no. of journalist from India, Bangladesh and Bhutan) from different countries been for heritage walk in Bode.

Thanks to all delegates visited Nepal and participated in First International Conference on Mother Language Journalism 2024. Hope to have further cooperation and wish for your safe journey towards home town and countries. For the conference Mr. Surendra Bhakta Shrestha, vice president of NFNJ has been appointed as chief coordinator.

प्रथम अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मातृभाषा पत्रकारिता सम्मेलन ११४४ सम्पन्न भयो । दक्षिण एशियामै पहिलो पटक नेपालले देशीविदेशी पत्रकारहरुलाई सहभागी गराएर मातृभाषा पत्रकारिता सम्मेलन गरेको हो । देशभरका नेवार पत्रकारहरुको साझा संस्था नेवाः पत्रकार राष्ट्रिय दबूले दुईदिने सम्मेलन सम्पन्न गरेको छ । कार्यक्रमलाई सार्क जर्नालिष्ट फोरम र फोनिजले सहकार्य गरेको हो । कार्यक्रममा बंगलादेश, भारतका विभिन्न प्रान्त, भुटान र नेपालबाट विभिन्न प्रदेशका पत्रकारहरुको सहभागिता थियो । कार्यक्रमको पहिलो दिनको उद्घाटन सत्र निवर्तमान राष्ट्रपति विद्यादेवी भण्डारी र दोस्रो दिनको कार्यक्रम उपप्रधान तथा परराष्ट्रमन्त्री नारायणकाजी श्रेष्ठको सहभागितामा सम्पन्न भएको थियो । सम्मेलनमार्फत काठमाडौं थिमि ८ बुँदे घोषणापत्र जारी गरिएको छ । नेपालमा धर्मादित्य धर्माचार्यले मातृभाषाबाट पत्रकारिता सुरु गरेको १०० वर्ष पुगेको सन्दर्भमा कार्यक्रम गरेको हो । कार्यक्रममार्फत नेपालको मातृभाषाको पत्रकारितालाई अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय फोरममा पु¥याउने, विदेशमा भइरहेको पत्रकारिता विषयमा जानकारी लिने र मातृभाषाको पत्रकारितालाई व्यावसायिक, समावेशी बनाएर सुदृढ बनाउनको लागि सरकारलाई घच्घचाने मुख्य उद्देश्य लिइएको छ । ललितपुर महानगरपाालिका र मध्यपुर थिमि नगरपालिकाले सहकार्य गरेको कार्यक्रमको दोस्रो दिन मध्यपुर थिमि नगरपालिकाका मेयर सुरेन्द्र श्रेष्ठ, डेपुटी मेयर विजय कृष्ण श्रेष्ठ, ८ वडाका वडाध्यक्ष रमेश थापा श्रेष्ठले विभिन्न देशबाट नेपाल आएका पत्रकारहरुलाई ऐतिहासिक र सांस्कृतिक शहर मध्यपुर थिमिमा स्वागत गरेका छन् । नृपेन्द्रलाल श्रेष्ठ नेतृत्वको पत्रकार राष्ट्रिय दबूले प्यानल डिस्कसन, पेपर प्रेजेन्टेसन, धर्मादित्यको विषयमा ब्रिफिङ लगायत विभिन्न चरणमा गरेको कार्यक्रमलाई पत्रकार राष्ट्रिय दबूका उपाध्यक्ष सुरेन्द्र भक्त श्रेष्ठले संयोजन गरेका हुन् । साथ, सहयोग र सहकार्य गर्ने सबैसबै धन्यवादका पात्र हुन् ।
